Journal of Career and Technical Education

The Journal of Career and Technical Education is a peer-reviewed, open access, electronic journal, publishing papers on issues and trends in career and technical education. The scope of the journal includes research reports conducted in the context of academic and career/technical education integration, agricultural education, business education, technology education, family and consumer sciences, and other related disciplines. The journal seeks submissions of manuscripts based on empirical research, quantitative and qualitative, contributing to the body of knowledge about the organization, implementation, and outcomes of programs and practices in career and technical education.

Journal of Catholic Education

The Journal of Catholic Education (formerly Catholic Education: A Journal of Inquiry and Practice), is currently managed and edited by the University of Notre Dame and digitally hosted by Loyola Marymount University. We are an open access journal representing Catholic colleges and universities, Catholic education leaders, and scholars from a variety of disciplines who are collectively committed to contributing research and encouraging best practice in Catholic elementary, secondary, and higher education by advancing the field of Catholic educational research.

Journal of Contemporary Issues in Education

The Journal of Contemporary Issues in Education (JCIE) is an open access, peer reviewed journal that is currently published twice a year. The JCIE is committed to publishing original articles by eminent and emerging scholars that take a critical and interdisciplinary approach on a variety of issues in education from diverse contexts. The journal is open to both field-based research and conceptual and theoretical works; it especially welcomes critical scholarship that aims to contest conventional assumptions about educational and social development contexts and relationships. As such, JCIE accepts for review, previously unpublished articles that include but are not limited to global education, foundations of education (including sociological, philosophical, historical and cultural studies in education), citizenship and human rights education, social justice and related issues in education, specialized curriculum studies topics, policy studies in education and politics of education. As the journal has a social justice lens, we prioritize qualitative research.

Journal of Deaf Studies and Deaf Education

The Journal of Deaf Studies and Deaf Education is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal integrating and coordinating basic and applied research relating to individuals who are deaf, including cultural, developmental, linguistic, and educational topics. The journal consists of four issues per year, including occasional Special Issues.
