Journal of Public Pedagogies

The Journal of Public Pedagogies is a peer-reviewed publication of the Public Pedagogies Institute. The journal publishes research and practice in learning and teaching that extends beyond the boundaries of traditional or formal educational institutions. These areas include arts, community engagement, social pedagogy, public history, work in and research on public institutions such as museums, libraries, neighborhood houses, community centers, practice, research and evaluation in public pedagogies. The journal will consider multidisciplinary work. We see multidisciplinary artistic practice as consisting of performative practices from the performing arts, music, visual arts - including painting, drawing, photography, installations and environmental/ephemeral processes and more. Literature, film and media, graphic design and architecture are further examples of how engagement with artistic process impact and contribute towards the public sphere in a range of ways. Multidisciplinary processes of artistic inquiry encourage conversations within and beyond the arts. The Journal of Public Pedagogies actively promotes artistic ways of knowing and being in the world speaking within and to the public sphere, celebrating the transformative articulations that express multidisciplinary conceptions of the public while challenging how artistic research and ways of being are pedagogical within the everyday.

Journal of Research in Mathematics Education

REDIMAT is an open access journal published by Hipatia Press in the field of Mathematics Education. REDIMAT emerges from the need to address the excessive compartmentalization of scientific knowledge that has traditionally existed in this educational field in Spain and Latin America countries. REDIMAT is an international space to stimulate scientific discussion on mathematics education drawing on scientific evidence. REDIMAT publishes original empirical and theoretical work, focusing on scientific researches from a diversity of theoretical and methodological approaches. REDIMAT publishes articles in English and Spanish three times a year, in February, June and October.

Journal of Research in Rural Education

The Journal of Research in Rural Education is a peer-reviewed, open access e-journal publishing original pieces of scholarly research of demonstrable relevance to educational issues within rural settings.

Journal of Social Science Education

The Journal of Social Science Education is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal which publishes high-quality articles on teaching and learning in the interdisciplinary field of social science education. Published since 2002, the JSSE is a quarterly with thematic issues which, nevertheless, also runs a permanent open call. In addition to its focus on original research papers, the JSSE welcomes other contributions including research notes, essays, reports about debates and developments, country studies, conference reports, case studies or lesson reports, reviews and review essays.

Journal of Special Education and Rehabilitation (JSER) (ISSN 1409-6099) is a multidisciplinary peer reviewed international journal edited by the Institute of Special Education and Rehabilitation of the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje, Macedonian Scientific Society for Autism and Macedonian Association of Special Educators.
